Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Manager position is an impactful role as part of our current and continued growth and will help contribute to a record-breaking year. We are looking for someone to lead our marketing initiatives to advance this mission. This is a high visibility, high opportunity position with lots of potential.

The successful candidate will coordinate and integrate all marketing and communications efforts across our website, product photography, digital marketing, in house video production, and social media. With strategic direction, you will translate initiatives into marketing tactics to deliver an expansion of reach and depth of engagement with the intended audience.

You will work closely with a diverse and talented team in a fun-loving environment where everyone is invested in each other’s success.

About the Candidate:

Acting as our lead marketer you will oversee a developing team in the creation and execution of innovative marketing strategies to expand awareness for our brand, customer reach, and customer engagement while develop metrics and targets. Under your guidance and leadership, you will have the opportunity to expand our marketing and creative team as our brand and reach expands.

Have a strong understanding of marketing plans, social media planning and writing, and participation in budget development.  You will be managing external agencies, inhouse team members, planning marketing strategies, working with our current affiliates, and seek new potential affiliates.

Be knowledgeable with analytics and able to take actionable insights from the data – You will manage and measure the effectiveness of all campaigns from start to finish, including identifying which campaigns are having the greatest impact. Knowledge of analytics tools as it relates to marketing objectives is important in understanding if what we are doing is working!

Be able to organize multiple projects – You will be comfortable handling multiple and shifting priorities. You will establish our campaign timelines, plans, and project manage. You will be able to track the ROI of our marketing efforts and support making adjustments to optimize, as needed. In areas where you are not experienced, you are able to learn and adapt quickly.

Be a leader – You will be responsible for identifying new systems and processes to manage a small team with hybrid roles. You have an entrepreneurial streak with a can-do attitude. You strive to contribute to a results-focused company culture. You’re as much of a "doer” as you are a planner. 

Develop and maintain a culture of transparency, integrity, and commitment to excellence in the department through recruitment, training, conduct of day-to-day activities and identification and implementation of best practices. Ensure the atmosphere remains positive and upbeat, consistent with the company’s culture.

  • Primarily, manage the marketing team and all aspects of the company’s marketing efforts,
  • Assist in quantifying and tracking marketing results to determine the best allocation of marketing resources,
  • Direct and help measure email, social media and other digital marketing campaigns,
  • Create a cohesiveness between all aspects of our customer touchpoints such as product descriptions, photographs, video, and digital marketing,
  • Champion a developing team comprised of various skillsets and focus areas,
  • Execute and manage a marketing strategy,
  • Proactively look for ways to improve processes, product sales, and reporting,
  • Aid in managing and evaluating on-going web alliances and partnerships,
  • Track current and emerging e-commerce and marketing trends,
  • Heighten multi-brand visibility and consistency,
  • Help grow and expand our affiliate partners.


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as project and time management,
  • Works well independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization,
  • Skilled in managing production timelines for multiple marketing deliverables,
  • Must be organized, pay strict attention to detail and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast paced environment,
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills,
  • Demonstrate flexibility and strong time management skills through workload prioritization,
  • A desire to super-serve your clients by going above and beyond expectations,
  • Strong attention to detail and following through, especially with small but significant variances,
  • Ability to take on a task and drive it to completion,
  • Understanding of and familiarity with ecommerce sites (Amazon, Walmart.com, eBay, etc.),
  • Comfortable learning and using various industry software packages, Current on emerging marketing and media channels, tools, trends and best practices,
  • Experience with digital commerce and marketing KPIs and analytical tools,
  • Data-and-metrics-minded with knowledge across CRM, modeling and segmentation approaches and resources,
  • Web publishing experience using dynamic content management systems,
  • Experience in managing paid media campaigns and ROI,
  • Experience supervising and developing staff, freelancers and/or contractors.


  • BA/BS or higher degree in Marketing, Advertising, or relevant field.
  • 5-8+ years of marketing experience, ideally in e-commerce.

Work Hours and Conditions:

A minimum of 40 hours per week.
